Arkoss started out in the underground music scene as a raver back in the late 80’s, experiencing first hand the ‘summer of love’ of 88 and joining in the outdoor raves of the early 90’s. Arkoss’ passion for house music grew and dance music became a way of life for him. He began DJing, running his own club nights, dabbling in studio production and, of course, partying hard! Fast forward to the present day and Arkoss is a force to be reckoned with in the cutting edge house scene. As well as being a DJ/remixer/producer, he runs the hugely popular event, Funkinyou. It is without a doubt one of London’s biggest monthly house nights, managing to hold a residency at Koko since it launched in 2003.
