Jamie has loved music since she was a young girl. While most of her 4-year-old friends were singing children's songs and lullabies, her mom tells stories of how she would walk around singing classic rock songs like "Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp. She began songwriting at the age of 12. Her passion for music and her love of words make songwriting the perfect combination. When asked about her style of songwriting, Jamie replied, "Writing music is personal to me, but it's also something I feel very strongly to share with as many people as possible.
